CURRICULUM

Our motto is to lead the children towards the light. Knowledge and skills will provide them the tools to find the light and learn to analyze and make informed decisions about their own future and contribute to the world around them, shedding the light.

We follow the CAPS curriculum as prescribed by the WCED. Differentiation is an integral part of the planning, thus making provision for enhancements in lessons as well as catering for interventions where and when needed. Our team of teachers are all well-trained and equipped to provide individual support along with the support of the LST (Learning Support Teacher).

PBL (Project Based Learning) are being introduced from 2020 to allow learners to experience learning as solving problems within a context and develop their own learning needs and styles.

Learning styles and MI(Multi Intelligence) are included in all lesson plans.

Productive Pedagogies form an integral part of planning the curriculum.
